Funeral for MRU pilot Friday, crash investigation update moved to Monday

The Transportation Safety Board is moving a media update on the investigation into a plane crash outside Cochrane to Monday.
It was supposed to run Friday at 10 a.m., but that was just one hour before the funeral for Reynold Johnson, who was one of the two pilots who died in the crash.
The private funeral is being at the Saint Michael’s Catholic Community at 11 a.m.
Jeffrey Bird also died in the crash on February 13.
Both were instructors with the Mount Royal University Aviation Program, and it was one of the school’s planes that went down.
