Hosted by the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA), Calgary Section, highlights of the SRO gala were numerous indeed including: a champagne reception; a scumptious multi-course meal; remarks from myriad politicians and HKCBA executives; the traditional Lion Dance; scholarship presentations; prize draws; and dancing to Jason Hastie and The Alibi.
Proceeds from the Gala funded $2500 individual scholarships to four deserving students- two from the Bissett School of business (Mount Royal University) and two from the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary). Congratulations to Pavel Petkov, Sadiq Valliani, Jade Wishart and Jessica Wong on being this year’s recipients.
